Roofing

All residential roofs are not the same; some are sloped while others are flat. No matter your residential roof type, a residential roofing contractor typically will support any of your roofing needs. Our roofing services include:

  • Inspection of your roof to assess any damage from a recent wind/hail storm or from aging.
  • Repair of small isolated issues on your roof, for example, lifting or missing shingles.
  • Repair of your roof accessories, which includes cleaning debris from your roof and gutters and attending to any minor issues such as cracked/damaged flashings on pipes, vents, and stacks.
  • Roof replacement – if your shingles are at the end of their life span or have been damaged beyond repair by a storm, we will remove and dispose of the old shingles, prepare your roof deck, and install new roof materials and accessories.
  • Emergency Repair, when the unexpected occurs, we will be ready to help out with your leaky roof, or repair any damage caused by a recent storm.

Patio Cover Additions

When the summer turns up the heat outside, a new patio cover will offer much-needed shade to extend your hangout space to the outdoors. We have a unique process when building our patio covers that makes them durable and made to last. Our typical patio cover build involves the following process:

  • Concrete
  • Custom Designer Post Brackets
  • Cedar Posts
  • Cedar Beams, notched into posts log cabin style
  • All posts, beams, and rafters attached with brackets. Top of rafters tied into existing roof when connecting the patio cover to the main house
  • 5/4” x 6” cedar perfections on top of rafters to create a beautiful rustic ceiling
  • Most roofs consist of 7/16” OSB on top of cedar and a 2-ply self-adhered roof
  • Clear panels over 2” x 2” cedar for pergola look
  • Custom finish out at all existing roof openings to prevent animal entry

Speciality Projects

We can tackle many special projects. A few special projects we’ve done are decks, chicken coops, complete fences, garden enclosures, waterfalls, etc. Allow us to show you what we can do for the special project you have in mind!

A Patio Cover in Your Budget

I guess I like projects. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I bought the house next door to mine and renovations have begun! I’m going to turn it into a furnished short-term rental (AirBnB, VRBO or for clients that are between homes and need something temporary). Also so I have a place where my out-of-town family can stay. (HINT to all of my relatives to come visit! ♥️) I’m super excited to be working with D. Bassett Roofing & Renovation, LLC again and can’t wait to see how it turns out
